Fly The Flag (Properly).
The Flag is always hoisted briskly & lowered ceremoniously.
The Flag is never allowed to touch the ground or the floor.
When hung on a rope extending from a building or a pole, the union stars are always away from the building or the structure.
When vertically hung over the street, The Flag always has the union stars to the north on an east/west street, & to the east on a north/south street.
The Flag should ceremonially displayed on all days, especially national holidays & as may be proclaimed by the President, & date of each state's admission to the union.
The Flag should always be allowed to fall free, it should never be drawn back, nor up in folds or festooned - indoors or out.
The Flag should be displayed at half-mast until noon on Memorial Day, then raised to the top of the staff.
Only fly the flag upside down as a signal of distress in instances of extreme danger to life.
The Flag is to be flown everyday from sunrise to sunset & then stored properly; & flown at night only if properly illuminated.
