1995- Traveled to Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Carlsbad Caverns are the home tens of thousands of bats, which fly out through the natural entrance of the cavern each evening at sunset. The bats sleep in the cavern during the day and fly out each night to feed on insects.
I got to wander over 750 feet below the surface through these caverns.
