Thanks for your concern. Frederick Maryland did very well. The mountains to the South of us (The Appalachian and Alleghenies come together in a V between Frederick and Washington D.C.) protected us from much damage. The rain was needed to end a summer long drought, too late to help the farmers though.
Virginia had some flooding and there was some flooding in Pennsylvania just North of us so we consider ourselves pretty lucky.
