It's not just a PRHS thing, either. Try driving past St.Peter's Boys High School or Curtis at dismissal. I've seen the same thing that you described at IS 61 in the morning, also. Have you noticed that, I would say most people, rarely wait until a major street is clear of traffic both ways before crossing. This happens a lot where I live. Consequently, you have people standing on the double yellow line on Forest Avenue waiting to cross, sandwiched in between opposing lanes of traffic. It happens everywhere. I am so sick of it.
