Yes. We got some replies from some local dealers. They basically wanted $500.00 above what they claimed was dealer cost. Used the webb to find out real dealer cost, plus rebates, plus dealer rebates - they get at least 3% of dealer cost when they sell a car from the manuf. So we played split up. My wife would go in first with the dealer on line bid. Somehow they always seemed to have made an error in their math. I would follow with the Kelley Blue Book or other similar material. One dealer threw me out. Another tried the math trick. And so it went. Finally found one who said 3% over invoice plus the rebate. Told him he could have the 3% we would get the rebate. Deal. So as always it is buyer beware.
