Are you suggesting that members of one of the learned professions, the law, are not worthy of entry into Heaven?
I noted with interest that the late President JFK's son, the sadly killed JFK, Jr., who was also the son of Jacqueline K. Onassis, attended NYU Law School, and practiced as a prosecuting attorney for several years before taking up flying. Since I attended that school and practiced that profession it was of some interest to me that the son of one of the most accomplished and prominent families in America would choose to attend a school, and perform a function, that I thought worthwhile, when he could have chosen other things as well.
As long as leading families, and working families, send their promising youngsters to law school, I guess we'll continue to have lawyers, and the devil take the hindmost.
