I'm interested in hearing from anyone who grew up on Staten Island in the '50's or 60's who might remember "the mosquito man." He came around in the summer spraying insecticide throughout the neighborhoods. What is your gut reaction on remembering him? Did you follow the truck and revel in the billowing mists of insecticide?
I've written about him and am interested in hearing if others have had the same visceral reaction that I have.
