Are you talking about the toy store which was near the intersection of Castleton Avenue and Broadway (or is it Clove Road? -- it's been too long!) My father was a fireman and, at least for the one I'm remembering, apparently the owner gave firemen a discount. We were always taken there before Christmas to help us get ideas for our letter to Santa. I can't remember the name of the toy store, but it wasn't too large, as I recall. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
