Lucky you, moving to StatNisland! You might start a trend. You've certainly come to the right place for information.

There are loads of good places to eat, and drink, although some of our memories of the best may be a little dated. I hope you like crumb buns on Sunday mornings, and pizza and beer on Friday or Saturday nite, because there's lots of that; ask for the sausage and mushroom for authenticity's sake.

The place was galloping with horses when I was last there, although some may be a little long in the tooth, nowadays. The parks contain all sorts of bridal paths, or should that be bridle; sometimes they seem alike.

As for the best neighborhoods, I was always partial to FawCawnahs. From there you could take the Number Six bus to PorRichman, to SainGeorge, to the World, and the sooner the better.

The best of the deal are the beaches, South, Midland, Great Kills, and others here and there. Just bring a blanket and a cooler and don't forget to say Hi! to the lifeguard and the SP.

Good luck and let us know what you find out.
