Lets get really nostalgic now! Marcene Daniels oldtimer mdaniels@thegrid.net How about that great tune "Sweet Sixteen"?

I loved you as I never loved before,
When first I met you on the village green,
Come to me ore my dream of life is o'er
I love you as I loved you when you were sweet,
When you were sweet sixteen.

Another one of my favorites

And a poem by Joyce Kilmer I learned in Mrs. Smith's English class at P.S.29 put to music and made into a great song for our music appreciation class, remember those classes?

"Trees"
I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as a tree.
A tree that looks at God all day, and lifts it's leafy arms to pray.
A tree that may in summer wear a nest of robins in her hair.
Upon whose bosom snow has lain, an intimately lives with rain,
A poem is made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree!

May have errors in this but you can see the magnitude of this I am sure.... I remember it from third grade so it must be great!
