Maybe "papa" Castro will get his just desserts and a smattering of capitalism as in a recent cartoon which showed Elian sitting on Fidel's lap asking for everything under the sun that many of our kids get. Fidel was was sweating and sheepishly asked him if he wanted to go back to America.
Anyhoo, Elian did in some way fulfill the American Dream (of sorts)....he arrived in an inner tube and left in a Lear-Jet.
Nothing that could have been done...the opposing forces were both numbskulls...hope Elian's father finds a way to defect!!!
