I remember well searching for and hauling deposit bottles to the Ralston store on the corner of Midland Ave and SO Railroad Ave. Depending upon how much I earned I would get a Fudgesicle or some candy and ride off on my bike. I think that Ralston stores were the first neighborhood convienance store.
