Armed Confrontation Stanley J. Singer sjsinger firstname.lastname@example.org
To my knowledge, no one checked to see if the guns were loaded or not, but I must assume that they were. Gun control laws have gotten out of hand. In Texas, if they were carrying revolvers the Police could step in, if they dared, but they were carrying assault rifles which is not against our stupid Texas Law. The Houston Police are underpaid, undermanned and face criticism from all sides. We have profiling in Houston, which means that whenever a Police Officer gives out even a citation for passing a red light, he must fill out a form which essentially asks whether the citation was given to an Asian, Black, Hispanic or White. Result, the number of citations have dropped drastically making our roads dangerous. I could go on and on but I must sympathize with our Police they are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
I feel that if we give into fear, the future for our city, state and country is endangered.
