Thanks for clarifying the "skeeves" thing, guys. Now I wonder this, when I first heard the word used it was used as an adjective as in : that new teacher with the tight pants is "skeevy" or what a "skeevy guy that is"
Some time later, I started to hear people use it as a verb as in "My new teacher skeeves me. " I wonder how this change in usage occurred. Jan, do you know what part of speech the Italian skevatza is? Just wondering.
