I'd say it was the passengers who had the guts or maybe they were just nuts more than likley stoned as much as I was. This was in 68 and 69 when I had that. That was before the days of custom vans we just used to call it "The Truck". I had it before the "Mack Truck" was formed. I remember taking a band photo with them all hanging out of it. Frank Madeleone (Earl Slick)had permanent dibs on the front passenger seat we would "Truck" all over the place. I thought that thing was a tank and would try and go anywhere I could with it. Wood trails hills waterever. Amazingly enough I don't remember ever getting stuck with one of my short cuts although I never did make over the dune at Oakwood beach with it lol
