South Beach Boardwalk Jim Donnelly Artful Codger email@example.com
A couple a weeks ago the Advance web site ran an item that said the FDR boardwalk went into decline during the Depression. In my memory it was still a good place to go up until the time I left the Island--then I realized for the first time that most of those years really were during the Depression. Never thought about that before. It makes me feel just that slightest bit older.
But I thought that the thing that did the boardwalk in was a hurricane. I got that wrong?
Anyway, here's what I gotta know: What's there now? Any of those places where you throw baseballs at milk bottles? Any bumper cars? Anything like that at all?
