Geese on Deck - P. St. Pierre Charles Evans Cron firstname.lastname@example.org
Migrating birds, usually canary type, pretty colors, would hitch a ride on our ship when we were sailing north or south within sight of the S.A. and African cost's. It seemed to us that they would hang around as long as the ship was going in their direction. Sometimes hours, sometimes days. We of course would feed them but food or not, off they'd go just like they came. None of us really knew anything about birds and I have often wondered if that's what they were really doing?
