Geese on Deck - P. St. Pierre Charles Schleininger corsair firstname.lastname@example.org
" In the early 1930's, USS Langley was on
cold water deployment off the New
England coast. To the surprise of the
crew, a flock of migrating Canadian
Geese landed on the flight deck, evidently
to rest & acquire some food before
continuing their long journey south.
Needless to say the Langley crew was
delighted to be able to feed the geese &
the geese welcomed the repast.
This was another first for the Langley for,
to my knowledge, no other aircraft carrier
crew ever claimed to have a flock of
geese land on their ship."
