Virus Warning Robert Sheridan bobsheridan email@example.com
I was listening to a discussion about this virus on the radio today and the expert said that opening email from people you don't know is like answering the doorbell and meeting a stranger who says, "Here, try this in your Kool-Ade." Would you drop it into your Kool-Ade? Not likely.
My question is this. Why do we have to allow emails into our computers without prescreening first? Couldn't we have a vestibule area that lets us sniff or check for bad things before we open the package and watch a bomb go off?
Since they have Wastebaskets that you have to empty to get rid of deleted items, giving you another chance to consider, why couldn't we have a holding area for email?
Or do we already have it and I just haven't been hip to it yet?
