Da Ya Know What Tomorrow Is???? Dan Blaine DBLIVIT firstname.lastname@example.org
The first week in May, the carp would start spawning in the shallows at the Martling's end of Brooks pond. I remember one time rigging up my bow and arrow with a coffee can attached that I wrapped monofilament around and tied to a homemade barbed arrow point...I had soldered a treble hook to a target arrow tip.
Never had any luck, the homemade lashup always had something go wrong...either the line wouldn't spool out right, or I didn't release the arrow correctly when I had a shot. I never did master the three finger draw and release for the bow string, I liked to hold it between my thumb and index finger...I wonder if the Leni-Lenape Indians used the three finger draw?
