Bluefish was my favorite. I remember living in Great Kills and preparing the bluefish for the oven with parsley and garlic and we couldn't wait till it was time to take it out of the oven. After taking one bite we all put our forks down. It was quite a while before we could get the taste of oil out of our mouths. It seems our friend who gave us the fish,caught it on a day where there was oil spillage in the water. It all seemed okay until you ate it. I still eat fish but it has to be farm raised.
