Electronic Filing? Dan Blaine DBLIVIT The IRS and HR Block, et al, tout filing your income tax electronically. "The only way to go", they say.

Not for me! I can see some IRS clerk sitting there checking my form with mouse clicks and straining it thru all manner of computer sieves to squeeze some more money out of me.

I say let the IRS work for their (my hard earned) money. They'll get my hard copy postmarked just under the deadline. Then if they want to go over my form with a fine tooth comb let them sit there like Uriah Heep and check out each entry the "old fashioned" way.

Their argument: "Electronic filing saves the government a lot of money and you'll get your refund(?) faster." What refund?
