Thought for the day Robert Sheridan bobsheridan firstname.lastname@example.org
A Left-handed shortstop, that's pretty miraculous. Being a Southpaw myself, they wouldn't let me near shortstop. I figured it was because to get any heat on a throw, you had to throw across your body, getting a step, and a hip, shoulder, and arm into it. Lefties have to take an extra step, meaning more time for the runner to reach first, to do that, otherwise the throw is awkward. But, being left-handed, you already knew that.
I was watching the film clips they showed about Willie Mays yesterday. He was such a beautiful athlete, making that basket catch and getting the ball home in a hard flash. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I haven't seen anything as pretty, ever.
