THE POMEROY GROUP - COMBAT Stanley J. Singer sjsinger firstname.lastname@example.org
There is no justice, I was in the 12th Af, North Africa, Sicily, Corsica, Italy and Southern Europe. Our maximum number of missions was supposed to be 50, but they also refused to credit us with propaganda or recon missions or when we returned without dropping bombs on target. When I got to 50 the hard way they insisted that we had to stay until replacements would arrive. The results were that I flew 102 bombing missions, nine sea seeps, and two propaganda missions in B-25's and A-20's. I survived but barely, many of my buddies did not.
I have more combat hours than most of the men in the 8th AF.
