My grandfather used to take my sister and me down there all the time in the late 50's early 60's. He used to visit his friend, Mr Petersen, who I think had something to do with running the dock. I don't remember a snack bar, so don't take this as a slam, but to this day if we eat something that tastes too fishy we say "it taste's like Schols dock!" Ah, I still remember that smell!
