Name that Pasta! Gina * Gina email@example.com
OUCH! It's another list ROFLMAO - RS stay cool now...some things have to be in list form BUT "U" can pick on DBLIVIT for this one :))
fucelli (ALL Grandma's always made me my favorite fucelli)
rigatoni (around here affectionally called sewer pipes)
spaghetti #8,#7,#6 0 O o
tortellini (my next door neighbor makes them and in her
still broWkn a ingles calls them "little bellybuttons")
pastina (egg, spinich, carrot flavours)
shells small, medium & large
perceatelli (thick spaghetti)
tubetti (smaller tubetteni)
rotelle (another of my favorites)
Besides the traditional spaghetti/macaroni's we knew as kids, the markets today carry alllllllllllllll shapes & sizes of "pasta". I've seen them with all kinds of "built in the pasta dough" stuff like vegetables, tomato, peppers and more recently I came a cross spice & herb flavoured.
I'm beginning to believe that "pasta" is the most versatile food base around.
phone be right back LOL
