Yeah, it is amazing technology and awesome storage but until they come up with better defrag routines it will take you forever to defrag the beast. I have a 12G drive with about 1G of data, I start the defrag before I go to bed and hope it is completed before I get up 8 hours later. I guess you could make a bunch of partitions and defrag them individually. Lets see 26 letters available, 75G of drive space, if the partitions are equal you end up with 26X3G partitions. And what was it my mom said, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket". Not sure I'm ready for this one. Harry
