yep in my house it was called sauce. when i went to my friends house in west brighton it was called gravey. charlie's mother was italian all the way through. she was an exceptionally great cook and i learned a lot about italian cooking watching her in the ketchin.

they lived on east raleigh ave.

but no matter what ya call the red stuff, if ya make it right it's fantastic.

takes me three days to make a great gravy/sauce. thats because i add all the ingreadients a little bit at a time, but the bottle of hearty burgandy goes in from the beginning.
