Yup, I gotta agree that typing was a worthwhile thing to loin. I, too, loined it in high school. Then, after college I took myself to secretarial school, improved my typing, and also learned shorthand.
Now *shorthand* is a super useful thing to know, because so few people can read it. I can write notes on what to buy for my husband, leave them in plain sight, and he hasn't a clue. He can recognize his own name, that's all.
Maybe I should write about JR in shorthand and send it to him?? Hmmmm, sounds like fun.
I'm open to suggestions on what to write ...
