Do You Remember? C Connelly mcgil email@example.com
Actually it wasn't the mother's fault. She drove the kid to the bus stop every morning and picked her at the bus every afternoon. The school never notified the mom that her daughter wasn't attending class. You can be sure that the school caught hell for it.
When I returned home from court that day I called my sister and asked her what she thought would have happened if either of us ever tried it(we grew up in a non-violent home -- sometimes I used to think I would rather have had a slap then have to listen to one more of my Dad's lectures!,) we both thought of it for a moment and burst out laughing and couldn't stop. The thought of it was so absurd that we couldn't even take it seriously.
