oil and gas prices Dan Blaine DBLIVIT Good point, Charlie. We discussed the tax implications over here and didn't come up with a conclusion. We think over here the tax is called a "mineral oil" tax instead of a road tax, therefore using a plant based oil would make it tax exempt.

But this brings up another question: if the gasoline tax in the states is really a "road tax", does this mean that if you fill up a gas can for your lawn mower you should get a tax rebate?
