The results of the past few days do not say much for the leaders of the N.Y. Democratic Party. The message is that they believe there is no one among their numbers that has the credentials to run for the soon to be vacant seat. So in desperation they turn outside the state. If they win what will they get, a Senator that will essentially move back to Washington D.C. Maybe the voters will be smarter than they are, or perhaps they will wake up if a republican wins.
