I am an employer and defend that right but I have to live within the guidelines of any contract I signed with that employee if no contract is signed then the employee is hired and fired at will. If I had someone work for me and I fired because he said something not about me or my company that I didn't like that guy would end up owning me and my company. If I docked his pay the NLB would be holding hearings fining me and paying him compensation out of my fine. But the real point is he was not fined nor suspended by the company or corp. he works for it was an association that the company that he works for belongs to
