Not being a lawyer, it is also illegal to yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater, so there are limits to First Amendment rights. But again, the point here, in my opinion, is the employers right to have some say over what their employees say. Of course the employee has the right to say whatever they want, but if it puts the employer in a bad light, the employer also has the right to say, "You're fired!"
