Anniversary Of Pearl Harbor; Question? John Ritter JR ritter@interserf.net Tuesday, December 07, 1999 10:44 AM

Most all the history books cover in great detail the attack by Japan's aircraft on December 7th, 1941. What about the attack the next year in 1942. The plan, schedule, date of attack, and direction the aircraft were coming from were briefed in great detail to the 14th Naval District (Com 14 in Hawaii) and to the Commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Nimitz. The attack got through without being intercepted. Anyone know why and what they bombed?
