I gotta question, while we're on the subject of milk deliveries. I'm reading the current biography of Charles Lindbergh and the author says at one point that Lindbergh and his wife take the milk train from someplace to someplace.
Milk train. Is that the slow local that stops at every whistle-stop along the line to drop off or pick up da milk and takes forever to get where you wanna go?
Or is it the fast express that skips all the little places in between to deliver the milk before it spoils?
One-a you guys must know the definitive answer to what a milk train is.
I know what a milk truck is. That's the one where the kids go inna back and steal the ice on warm summer mornings.
