I work for Eckerd, and I know exactly what you mean-this year we started putting up the Christmas items before the end of September!! I run a photo lab so we have gotten real busy with photo greeting cards, calendars, and the like. Sad to say, except for last year in North Carolina when there was an ice storm and on Christmas morning it was all bright and sparkly, I have not really enjoyed a Christmas in many years because by the time it gets here I am glad it is over with. Any suggestions on how to avoid that this year? Florida is not exactly the place for Christmas weather, which is probably why I enjoyed NC so much last year.
Also for a laugh, check out Dave Barry's Christmas Giving Guide-there are unbelievable things in there!!
