Hey Rich,
At last, someone else who remembers Steve Allen. I watched his show all the time. He is truly one of the great comedic geniuses of our time.
I can still recall the skits with Louie Nye, Tom Poston, and of course, Don Knotts. I think that my weird sense of humor can be partially credited (or blamed) on Steve's influence as I was too was just a wee impressionable lad!
