On the news last night, I heard that the Shering pharmaceutical company gives the use of their corporate jets to campaigning politicians. This is probably done in anticipation that if elected, these politicians would lobby for their causes. When the pharmaceutical companies are questioned as to why we have to pay a high price to have our prescriptions filled, the answer they come back with is "the money is needed for research" Do they now expect us to believe that these $34,000 an hour flights wont be tacked on to the cost of our prescriptions? My answer to them would be I was born at night but not last night.
