Stan, Did your father, or other builders, actually do the street naming? If so, I was curious-- Hawthorne Street is pretty much near Lathrop. I was wondering if Hawthorne was named for Nathaniel Hawthorne; it seems that Hawthorne's daughter's married name was Lathrop.
I was curious to see if there was a connection.
