Hi Rich- I lived in the Markham Homes from 1953-71. Tommy Perlin was a friend,and he and his older brother(Carl?)lived a few doors away. After his father died in the late 60's, Tommy joined the Navy, and I believe his older brother had done so as well a few years earlier. That was the last time I saw him.
If you were from the neighborhood, maybe you remember my brothers Kenny and Richie. They delivered the Advance for years in the projects. -Greg
