From the bus riding from four corners to the ferry terminal there were many interesting sights that flew by without being seen in any more detail than from a vehicle. This was especially the case in the area from Silver Lake to Tompkinsville. I am reminded of a similar section in the Georgetown area of Washington, D. C. on Wisconsin Blvd. Having looked over the route on mapquest would also be interested in hearing about "Hero Park."?
