In previous nostrivas Richmond Ave was cited as THE shopping area.But Stapleton along Bay St and around Tappen park also had some good shopping in the 50s & 60s. 1.Earls record and sport shop has been mentioned a number of times.What was Earls nickname and surname. 2. At the intersection of Bay and Canal Sts.Tappen park was on one corner what businesses were on the other three corners. 3.There were 2 drug stores both on Bay St.one with a lunch counter,one without.What were their names. 4.There was one bakery near the park.What was its name. 5.There was a business on Bay near Canal that I have a personal connection to.What was it.Anyone who answers this is the big winner.
