I am astounded that I can't find here any reference to Rich Egger's ice cream. I certainly have never come upon any ice cream near as good, and I can't believe that I'm the only one who feels that way. I'm not on S.I. any more, but I understand Egger's name is still in use. Meaning no disrespect to the present owners, but it's hopeless, fellas. Not your fault, but you can't match it. I always thought that Mr. Egger looked a bit like Peter Lorre, but he was the least scary living man.
