SubTitle: At Stechman's

When Queen Regina and the Old Tymer arrived at Stechman's it was crowded. The PRHS after school crowd was there. They went in the back in hopes of finding a booth. In the last booth they discovered Ginger and Curley sharing an ice cream soda.
Queen Regina was furious, she had left strict orders that Ginger stay at Horrmann's castle and put mothballs in all the linen closets. Old Tymer went to bat for Ginger...After all, she had given her permission to date Curley (he must be OK...he had that nifty Henry J convertible with the eisenglass curtains you could roll right down in case there was a change in the weather).
So, the Queen and Old Tymer joined Curley and Ginger at their booth. The Queen wanted to know what their plans were after they left Richmond Avenue. Curley blushed as Ginger blurted out that they were going to the Drive-In Movie.
Old Tymer looked in the copy of the Advance she had with her and discovered that "The Moon is Blue" was playing there. This was the shocking, prurient, lascivious movie starring that Hollywood s*x idol, David Niven. The bedroom scene where David was under the covers with his female co-star implied n*kedness! No wonder the NY clergy had banned it!
"Well," said Queen Regina, "I don't think that's a decent movie for young people to see!" (in some respects, she was a throwback to one of her royal English ancestors, Queen Victoria). Old Tymer, on the other hand, thought perhaps they should give the kids a chance to see it...provided her and Regina accompanied them as chaperones.
So the four of them jumped into Curley's Henry J and drove up Richmond
Avenue towards New Springville.....
