Can't add a thing to what Marcene sez, she's a hunnert percent.
Now, for good sea food, try Scoma's on the Wharf, especially the cioppino, a stew of dungeness crab, clam, mussels, scallops, some firm white fish like halibut, in a tomato based sauce; served with San Francisco Sourdough French bread, sometimes buttered, toasted, and garlicked. With a bib and a bottle of wine you're all set. Didn't see cioppino on Old SI. Cacciucco is close or the same. BobS.
