Yes Dan they do have Clam Chowder here on the West Coast but it is most often like wall paper paste. Every Friday night most restaurants serve it. My husband always orders it. When they call it anything other than clam chowder it is called New England Style. One in awhile a sea food place has both kinds and call the vegetable and tomato type, Manhattan Style. This is of course like here we also have New York Steaks. What a joke. Marcene
