rs...... Check out this museum. Garbaldi-Meucci at 420 Tompkins Avenue . Meucci lost out on the patent for the telephone to Alexander Graham Bell and he gave shelter and a job as a candle maker to Giuseppe Garibaldi( the man who unified Italy) This was sometime between 1849 and 1854, so Iwould assume pizza got to the Isle long before WW2.
