I left the Island in 1973, and miss it so much!!! What do I remember?
I remember going to St. Roch's, I remember bringing my friend Denise
back to Travis after visiting us, and we would tease her about needing
a passport to enter Travis, I remember moving from Lathrop Ave. to College
Ave. and crying, because we would be gone from our neighborhood!!(Ok, i was only 12!!)
I remember so much and miss SI so much!!!!!!!!! Reading this page, has
brought back so many memories! Crossing the Verazzano the first day
it opened, with my Uncle Bob! OH, i miss SI!!!!!!!!!!!! being 3000 miles away is rough!
