Just finished reading the biography of William F. Cody written by his sister Helen Cody Wetmore. It was first published in 1899. She mentions that around 1887 Buffalo Bill purchased a tract of land on S.I. in an area called "Erastina." This land was chosen for his exhibitions. Has anyone heard of this particular area and where was it?
